Empowered Products (EMPO) Goes PINK® in Midwest with Meijer Stores

We are pleased to update our shareholders on our brand new sales relationship with Meijer Stores. Meijer operates 204 supercenters and grocery stores throughout the Midwest region of the United States. We've now made initial shipments of our PINK Silicone, PINK Water, and Hot PINK sensual lubricants to Meijer Distribution Centers for placement in all of their 200-plus stores. Consumers can now pick up these popular PINK items in 3.3 ounce bottle sizes in the Family Planning section of Meijer stores.

Meijer is a Grand Rapids, Mich.-based retailer that operates 204 supercenters and grocery stores throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. As the inventor of the "one-stop shopping" concept, Meijer stores have evolved through the years to include expanded fresh produce and meat departments, as well as pharmacies, comprehensive electronics departments, garden centers and apparel offerings. Last month, we announced a similar sales relationship with another key regional chain, H-E-B Grocery Company, and thus we are excited about our continued growth prospects within the U.S. regional chain sector.
On the national chain front, we've also been making great strides with sales relationships with many of our nation's top retailers, including:
- CVS: 5,000 U.S. retail locations
- Wal-Mart: 600 U.S. retail locations
- Walgreens: 7,000+ U.S. retail locations
- Rite Aid: 4,548 U.S. retail locations for PINK® Silicone / 3,705 U.S. retail locations for PINK® Water
- Kroger: 1,400 U.S. retail
- Target: Online retail sales at Target.com
In total, our empowering products are now available at over 21,000 retail locations in more than 30 countries spanning four continents. These include the national chains as mentioned above, regional chains such as Meijer and H-E-B, and adult-product venues.
